There is still time to register for the metaknowledge workshop at NASNA. Metaknowledge is a Python package for research on social and intellectual networks in science. It currently
accepts raw data from the Web of Science, Scopus, PubMed, Proquest, and various American and Canadian granting agencies. It is designed to integrate well with other data analysis software, including R packages, Pajek, Visone, Gephi, etc.
You can read about metaknowledge here if you are interested.
In addition to covering the basics of how to use metaknowledge to create, clean, and analyze scientific networks, Reid McIlroy-Young and I will provide a basic introduction to
using Python for social networks research.
Hope to see you at the conference!
