The Symposium is an interdisciplinary venue that brings together researchers from a diverse range of disciplines to contribute to the definition and exploration of the societal challenges in Computational Social Science, especially around the topics of inequality and imbalance.

 

The program features:

- 42 contributed talks

- 7 satellite events focused on different topics around Computational Social Science

- 4 keynotes by Kristina Lerman (University of Southern California), Keith Payne (University of North Carolina), Eszter Hargittai (University of Zurich & Northwestern University), and Ricardo Baeza-Yates (NTENT, Pompeu Fabra University & University of Chile)

- 1 social event at City University London with free beer and fun science talks

A number of free tickets for the workshop and tutorial day are available and will be given on a first come, first served basis. The admission fee for the full event costs 60 GBP, including coffee breaks and lunches. Registration will be close on November 6, 2017.
