Hi Katie,

We use this book:

https://www.amazon.com/Mastering-Mathematics-Great-Math-Student/dp/0534349471

It’s written by one of the math faculty at Bryant University.  It’s really a study skills book for math!

Innovative Educators also has two good videos on mastering math in their Student Lingo Series:

https://www.innovativeeducators.org/pages/studentlingo

Hope this helps.

Subject: specific training materials for math tutors

Good Morning,

I am seeking math specific training resources to use in training the students who staff our Math Study Center.  We use the Bedford Guide for Writing Tutors to train our writing center tutors, but I have been unable to find something similar for the subject area of math.

If you would be willing to share what you use, I would appreciate it!

Thank you!
