Dear Markus,

two studies that come to mind:

Lomi, A., Lusher, D., Pattison, P. E., & Robins, G. (2014). The focused organization of advice relations: A study in boundary crossing. Organization Science, 25(2), 438–457.

Dokko, G., Kane, A. A., & Tortoriello, M. (2014). One of us or one of my friends: How social identity and tie strength shape the creative generativity of boundary-spanning ties. Organization Studies, 35(5), 703–726.

Best,
Julija

Dear all,

Is anyone aware of articles that shed light on the relationship between organizational identity (Albert & Whetten, 1985) and intraorganizational social networks?

I’d greatly appreciate any pointers you may have.

Regards,

Markus
