Dear colleagues

Please circulate widely

I am urgently looking for someone who is willing to temporary cover a lectureship in Applications of SNA for the Department of Sociology at the University of Manchester. The course is a 3rd year undergraduate class that will run from beginning of February 2018 till end of June 2018. Classes are scheduled every Thursday between 2-5pm for 10 weeks, with 3 weeks Easter break. The actual teaching will finish around the end of April, with exams running in May. There are about 40 students enrolled at the moment but the number might slightly change.

The course is already designed and all slides, materials, readings etc. are on blackboard. Course outline needs to be updated with next semester deadlines, but apart from that it's good to go.

Ideally the candidate will be a post-doc or lecturer with some experience in teaching (teaching assistant, seminars, etc.) who can be in Manchester on a weekly basis.
