Funding Opportunity: UF CPET Summer 2018 Assistantship

 

 

The UF Center for Precollegiate Education and Training (CPET) seeks graduate students for these summer staff openings:

 

1.      Two team members with experience in coding (Python, Java, or R) for Gator Computing (June 4 through June 15), nonresidential.

 

2.      One team member with experience in molecular biology research such as PCR, pipetting, gel electrophoresis (late May through July 27), nonresidential.

 

3.      One additional team member with strong leadership experience and academic success to work with various one-week and two-week residential programs throughout the summer (June 4 through July 27), partially residential.

 

These positions provide you with opportunity to:

 

·         Receive training in First Aid/CPR, working with high school students, crisis management, and more.

 

·         Work in a fun and dynamic environment.

 

·         Gain professional experience working with high school students and UF faculty.

 

·         Build your resume and professional references.

 

·         Make a lasting positive impact on future Gators.
