Come learn more about UF’s groundbreaking, life-changing, nationally recognized EWITS® (Empowering Women in Technology Startups) initiative at this free information session about its Fall 2018 program, hosted by the Collaboratory for Women Innovators:
Wednesday, August 15, 2018
4 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Collaboratory for Women Innovators
747 SW 2nd Avenue – Suite 169
EWITS® — recognized by the Institute for Women’s Policy Research (IWPR) as one of seven programs across the country making an impact — empowers women with the tools they need to advance careers at any level, whether your aim is to increase your leadership role in your current employment or transforming yourself from “employee” to “employer” at the helm of your own business.
This 10-week program (meeting once a week for two and a half hours) immerses women in a simulated business experience grounded in real technology, providing guided mentorship that strips away barriers and helps unlock potential.
The best news: You don’t have to be an aspiring entrepreneur — or even a technologist — to benefit from this program. The only requirement for participants is a bachelor’s degree.
