Hey Matt, I can help out as well, either as a helper or potentially leading a dplyr/ggplot lesson Tuesday afternoon.

Thanks for your replies on and off list. Currently the schedule and staffing looks like:

Monday 22nd am (shell): Miao instructing,

Monday 22nd pm (intro R): Kristina instructing

Tuesday 23rd am (Git): Brian instructing

Tuesday 23rd pm (SQL & wrapup): Matt if needed, still available for volunteers

Available helpers: Hao, Ellen

As always the SQL section is negotiable and could be replaced with more R (ie dplyr) if there was more interest from instructors in teaching that.

Hi Matt,

I'm available as a helper for any sections that aren't SQL, but would prefer only a half-day slot unless you really need ppl.

Best,

We are also looking for at least one additional instructor and one additional helper, preferably for R. Miao and Brian are already teaching.

Please advertise this widely. Some suggested text:

This two day workshop will help the UF community get started learning R and common software development tools such as the Unix shell, SQL, and Git. Need to learn some programming for a class? Want to collaborate effectively with your peers? This is the workshop for you.
