Hi there,

Here is something that might be of interest to some of the members of this listserv (assuming it is not a scam!)

Subject: r programming

Barron's, the education publisher, is developing a basic R programming reference guide in its 30-title strong E-Z series. We have enlisted a prospective author who submitted a proposal for the project.

Needed is an r programming expert to evaluate the proposal, which consists of a 10-to-12 page sample chapter from the proposed book and a table of contents of that book. For a $150 fee, the evaluator would answer about 6-7 questions on a printed form about its publication prospects. So, there's no heavy lifting. The review would be for Barron's internal use only and would not be disseminated publicly.

If you know of a qualified evaluator for the job, including yourself, please contact me at your earliest convenience.

Thank you. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

Check out Barron's E-Z series titles-mostly math and science-at:<>

Respectfully yours,

Veronica Douglas
