Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking an Associate Director in the School of Arts and Sciences Office of Undergraduate Education.  The Associate Director supports ongoing improvement of teaching, learning, and assessment through providing faculty support and professional development in the areas of curriculum design, innovative pedagogies, teaching practices, and assessment of student learning outcomes.  Doctoral degree in humanities or social and behavior sciences discipline is preferred.

The School of Arts and Sciences (SAS) at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is the largest academic unit of the University and is comprised of 42 very different academic departments spanning humanities, social, physical and life sciences.  SAS has a membership of over 2,000 permanent and temporary faculty (instructional and research), teaching and graduate assistants, part-time lecturers, and post-doctoral appointees.
