Water Supply Planner – Suwannee River Water Management

This position is housed within the Office of Minimum Flows and Levels and Water Supply, and will report to the Water Supply Program Manager. This is professional work supporting the collection, analysis, and interpretation of water data in support of the District’s Water Supply and Minimum Flows and Minimum Levels programs.

 

Responsibilities include

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:  A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in planning, agriculture, resource economics, geography, hydrology, statistics, engineering or a natural science related field and one year of professional work experience in water supply planning, water resource management, or a closely related field. Programming experience or experience analyzing data using statistical software is highly desired.  

 

A master's degree from an accredited college or university in planning, environmental science, agriculture, resource economics, geography, hydrology, statistics, engineering or a natural science related field can substitute for one year of the required experience.
