During the past five years, nearly 130 students and 250-plus attendees have participated in the Symposium, which has been hosted at SWFREC for the last two years. This poster-only symposium is an excellent opportunity for students to showcase their research, gain experience in poster preparation and presentation, and network with faculty members as well as students housed at universities and research centers across South Florida.

The full agenda for the 2018 Symposium includes an optional field trip and is as follows:

In addition to students having the opportunity to hone their presentation skills, presenters of the three best graduate and undergraduate posters will be recognized and receive CASH PRIZES ($300, $200, $100 for graduates) and certificates. Only full-time enrolled University of Florida students will be eligible for cash prizes.

The deadline for submission of poster titles and abstracts is Monday, May 7, 2018, to allow time for preparation of the program, which will include publication of abstracts.
