The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign invites nominations and applications for the position of Dean of the School of Information Sciences.  The School of Information Sciences at Illinois is an international leader in graduate education, home to world-class faculty, top-tier research, and academic programs that are consistently ranked highly by U.S. News & World Report.  Its mission is to lead the way in understanding the use of information in science, culture, society, commerce, and the diverse activities of our daily lives—and in doing so, change the world.

The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign seeks an exceptional leader to serve as its next Dean of the School of Information Sciences.  Reporting to and working with the Provost, and in coordination with the Deans from other colleges and schools, the Dean will have responsibility for the strategic, programmatic, financial, fundraising, and management operations that support the mission and vision of the School of Information Sciences and its role within The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
