Call for Organized Sessions

Proposals are invited for Organized Sessions at NASN2018 in Washington, DC, November 27-30, 2018.

An Organized Session is a set of paper presentations centered on a specific theme, for which participants can submit abstracts from July 15, 2018 through September 14, 2018. Organized sessions consist of at least one 2-hour time slot accommodating 4-6 paper presentations.

Please submit any Organized Session proposal between the following dates:
Opens June 4, 2018
Closes July 13, 2018, at 17:00 EST
Proposals should be emailed to: [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]> and cc’d to [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>.

Please include the following required information in your proposal:
* Contact information for a session organizer (name, institution, email).
* A short descriptive title for your session, and a brief description of your session.
* The names and institutional affiliations of all organizers and the session chair.

After submission, you will receive a confirmation email. Decisions will be communicated to the corresponding organizer before July 15, 2018 when abstract submission opens.

Call for Workshop Proposals

Proposals are invited for Workshops at NASN2018 in Washington, DC, November 27-30, 2018.

Workshops are sessions of half a day (3 hrs) or a full day (2 sessions of 3 hrs) focused on teaching attendees specific methods, software or theories.

These workshops are not free and require additional payment upon registration:
Half day (3 hour) workshop: $70 USD regular/ $35 USD student
Full day (6 hour) workshop: $140 USD regular/ $70 USD students

Please submit Workshop proposals between the following dates:
Opens June 4, 2018
Closes July 27, 2018, at 17:00 EST

Please include the following required information in your proposal:
* Contact information of a workshop organizer.
* A short descriptive title and a brief description of your workshop, including the length of the workshop (3 or 6 hours) and the maximum number of attendees. Please include names and institutional affiliations of all organizers. You may include url to supporting information for inclusion on the conference website.

After submission, you will receive a confirmation email. Decisions will be communicated to the corresponding organizer before August 3, 2018.
