Greetings from the Hudson Valley in NY! The United States Military Academy Prep School (developmental education department for USMA at West Point) has an opening for a full-time (12 month) instructor/counselor of Learning and Development. Major duties include teaching our Student Development Course (study/learning strategies, research skills, goal setting, motivation, transition to college, etc.) and serving as academic counselor/coach to approximately 50 students. Opportunities for involvement in extracurricular clubs and events. We have a diverse student population including a high percentage of minority students, recruited athletes, and prior enlisted soldiers. Salary $70,000+ with full government employee benefit package.
