Dear Colleagues and Students,

Please join us for a series of timely events in recognition of International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women and 16 days of activism against gender-based violence (see attached flyer for details).

We've heard from many of you about the stress and need for community in the face of persistent incidents of hate-based violence, including gender-based and sexual violence. You may have seen the article in the Chronicle which advocates for treating "sexual violence and harassment as systemic, intellectually rigorous issues, worthy of faculty research and classroom time.” Join us in taking up this important call as a community of scholars, teachers, students, and practitioners.

Food and refreshments will be served:

Beginning November 12th, come into the Ustler Hall lobby during business hours, and add your voice to the #HearMeToo board!

Please distribute this invitation and attached flyer to your networks. I hope you will attend, and bring your friends and colleagues.
