Diana,

The Passion Planner site has printable weekly plan sheets that have a place for to do lists (personal and academic) and then the entire week with time increments for each item to be placed on the weekly calendar. It also includes a box for students to note positive things going on in their lives (helps with motivation) and a space for students to note the focus for each day and the week.

I have found these to work really well in weekly sessions with students on probation.

Also, I love that they were designed by a student who failed her first year of college and then created the business/planner system to help other students succeed.

Subject: To-Do Lists for Students

Hello all,

I am contemplating creating a To-Do list sheet that I can use in each of my weekly appointments with students on Academic Probation. Do you do something similar? My idea is to create a half-sheet that would give the student space to write out what they plan to accomplish during their upcoming week. Have you used this method before? If so, was it effective? Also, how did you keep track of those to-do’s? I am thinking of scanning the sheet before the meeting is over so I have record of it.

Any ideas for adding a “take away” to the weekly appointments would be appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

Take care,
Diana
