Several of our departments tried to use it, but the Registrar put the kibosh on it.  The rationale was FERPA related – a third party vendor potentially having access to sensitive/private student information and who knows what they might do with it.

Subject: Reminders

Has anyone used the “Remind” app for reminding students about their tutoring appointments? This topic has emerged in several recent meetings I’ve attended. If you’ve used it (or something similar) what has your experience been?

Thanks,
