Dear SOCNETeers,

On behalf of the Organizing Committee I am pleased to invite you to LANET 2019, the second edition of the Latin American Conference on Complex Networks. The conference will take place at Universidad de Los Andes’ Caribbean headquarters located in the beautiful city of Cartagena de Indias (Colombia) - August 5-9, 2019.

The aim of LANET is to provide a forum to join all scientists who are somehow related to the research on Network Science in Latin America. We have confirmed 21 invited speakers!

LANET 2019 will be a combination of:

• An International School for students and non-experts: August 5th and 6th (morning), 2019.
• Conferences and Parallel Sessions: August 6th (afternoon) to 9th, 2019.
  
• Satellites: August 6th (afternoon) to 9th, 2019.
  

Call for abstracts and satellites are already open! 

Talks

Abstracts submission deadline: April 14th, 2019.

We accept contributed talks (regular talks in parallel sessions and lightning, shorter talks in plenary session), and posters.

Minisymposia

Minisymposia proposals submission deadline: February 4th, 2019.

Minisymposium consists of a 2 hours special session of 4 talks of a selected group of 4 leading scientists about a specific topic of Complex Networks. LANET will provide the local organization support (room, projectors, computers and coffee breaks), and as compensation, one registration will be given to the Minisymposium Organizers who could decide how to use it.
