Dear Socnetters,

The Centre for German and European Studies, St. Petersburg State University—Bielefeld University invites BA, MA, PhD students, early-career social scientists and cultural scholars to take part in the 3rd St. Petersburg Summer School on Network Analysis on July 8—13, 2019. 

Application deadline: March 1, 2019.

Hands-on workshops will be provided by experienced researchers from Universities of Manchester and Liverpool: Elisa Bellotti and Julia Brennecke. 

Participants will get acquainted with the core concepts and methods of network analysis, learn about the cutting-edge developments in the field, train to collect and process network data with the specialized software, and discuss their own projects. Cultural programme in St. Petersburg is included.

The summer school will also feature a workshop on publishing in Social Networks journal.

Prior knowledge of network analysis is not mandatory, but a good command of English is necessary.
