The UF Graduate School’s Office of Graduate Diversity Initiatives (OGDI) is now accepting applications for the 2019 Board of Education (BOE) Summer Fellowship Program slated for June 26 through August 9, 2019.

BOE is a six-week summer orientation for new admitted underrepresented PhD students that provides a $3,500 stipend and four credits of in-state tuition, plus workshops, peer advisement, and activities that aid in the transition into doctoral education at UF.

Please alert your incoming Fall 2019 doctoral students who are from underrepresented ethnic or cultural backgrounds, low-income status, first-generation college graduates, or underrepresented in their field of study about this unique opportunity to jumpstart their doctoral studies and get acquainted with Gainesville before Fall 2019 begins.

The deadline to apply is Wednesday, May 1, 2019.
