?Submissions are invited to the 4th European Social Networks Conference (EUSN2019).

The 4th European Conference on Social Networks (EUSN 2019) will be held in Zurich, 9-12 September, 2019. Continuing the traditions of previous conferences in Barcelona (2014), Paris (2016), and Mainz (2017), and the legacies of predecessors Applications of Social Network Analysis (ASNA) and UK Social Network Analysis (UKSNA), the conference will bring together researchers and practitioners from the social sciences in the broad sense as well as statistics, computer science, data science, physics, economics, humanities, and other areas dealing with network science.

In addition to contributed presentations and posters, the conference will host organized sessions and workshops on social network theory, social network applications, and methods for data collection, modeling, analysis, and visualization of social networks.

The conference will be held on the central campus of ETH and the University of Zurich.

Submission Guidelines

Contributions to EUSN 2019 should be submitted to one of two tracks. Submissions to all tracks must be made via the EasyChair submission page<>.

Presentations: (opens 1 March 2019, deadline 12 April 2019)
Presentations are allocated 15 minutes plus 5 minutes for discussion. Any topic relevant to social network analysis, including theory, methods, and empirical applications will be considered. Abstracts are limited to 500 words, not including the title, and should not contain references. You will be asked to indicate a preferred session and to designate a speaker.  Contributors are restricted to one presentation but may be co-authors of multiple submissions.

Posters: (opens 13 April 2019, deadline 31 May 2019)
Posters are exhibited during a poster session and reception in the ETH main building on Wednesday, 11 September 2019. You will be asked to indicate whether you would like to participate in the associated poster slam competition.
