Hello everyone,
I am helping to put together a symposium on active learning and would love to hear suggestions for a keynote speaker. We are already considering a few well-known speakers, but I would love to hear about talks you've been to that you would recommend. We need someone who can speak to active learning in the classroom (techniques, outcomes, overcoming challenges, and addressing diversity are all relevant topics), who is a dynamic presenter, and who is well-respected by faculty. Other than those requirements, we are casting a wide net right now so we're pretty open. The people on this list have such a great variety of backgrounds that I thought it would be a good place to turn for some ideas. I appreciate any and all feedback.
