Research Administrator I - Florida Cooperative Research Unit

 

 

This position supports the Unit Leader, Assistant Unit Leaders, cooperating faculty, staff, and students in operation of all aspects of the Florida Cooperative Fish & Wildlife Research Unit (Unit) within the Department of Wildlife Ecology & Conservation (WEC). The primary duties and responsibilities consist of responsible independent work in pre- and post-award support for faculty within the Unit and cooperating faculty within WEC as well as cross-college proposals and awards. The incumbent must develop an understanding of the Cooperative Agreement that governs the Unit and exercise independent judgment in interpreting relevant Federal, State, and University policies and procedures to ensure smooth operation, a cooperative working environment, responsible management, and growth in Unit programs.
