Compliance Specialist


The Division of Research Compliance and Global Support (DRCGS) is the Office of Research’s primary Division responsible for developing and implementing research compliance programs that promote ethical and legally compliant research practices throughout UF’s research enterprise. With latitude for independent judgment and action, the Compliance Specialist will work with the DRCGS Director and Assistant Directors to carry out the functions of the Division. The Compliance Specialist will maintain a varied portfolio of compliance duties that will include supporting international sponsored research activities, the export control program, and general research compliance matters handled by the Division. Specifically, the Compliance Specialist will complete first level reviews of research activities to identify export or global compliance issues, communicate with faculty and staff to facilitate compliance measures in on-going research projects, provide recommendations on required compliance measures to the Division’s leadership team, and participate in strategic planning and special projects to meet the Division’s goals.
