What is your department’s role in promoting diversity and inclusion within graduate education at the University of Florida? This workshop will provide an overview of current literature and best practices for recruiting and retaining graduate students from underrepresented backgrounds. The goal of the session is to provide specific strategies and tools to aid graduate coordinators, faculty and staff in their diversity efforts. Attendees will also learn about funding opportunities and support available from the Office of Graduate Diversity Initiatives.
