This seminar is designed to be a thorough introduction to social network
analysis methods. The course uses network analysis packages for the R
environment. Topics covered include: motivating examples, basic SNA
vocabulary, data collection and network analysis packages, centrality,
structural holes and brokerage, density and connectivity, and network
hypotheses and how to evaluate them.
