  Advanced Oral Proficiency (non-credit):
The purpose of this course is to diagnose student fluency problems in English and to introduce self-practice methods and online resources to aid students interested in advancing their oral language proficiency. While not intended as a SPEAK Test preparation course, a commitment to improving spoken fluency in English may result in an improved assessment on oral proficiency tests. Students will exit the course more aware of their individual fluency challenges and with a clear idea about how to make progress on their own.
The Spring B Advanced Oral Proficiency class will begin March 16, 2021 and will end April 22, 2021.
The six-week synchronous Zoom class will meet three hours a week from 1:55 p.m. to 3:50 p.m. Tuesdays and 1:55 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. on Thursdays.
The last day to request enrollment or drop the class will be Friday, March 19.
The Advanced Oral Proficiency course is offered as a non-credit class lasting six weeks. This class is not eligible for a tuition waiver. The cost of a six-week section is $350.
