Vote for UF Graduate Education Diversity Champion Awards 2021!



The UF Graduate School’s Office of Graduate Diversity Initiatives (OGDI) is seeking your vote to help determine this year’s recipients of the 2021 Graduate Education Diversity Champion Award!

Each year, this award spotlights UF faculty who make outstanding contributions toward diversity, inclusion, and cross-cultural understanding in graduate education within our campus community through scholarship, teaching, mentoring, and positive interactions with others.


Nominees for the Graduate Education Diversity Champion Award would be noted for making their mark by one or more of these accomplishments:

  • Leadership in fostering positive interactions between persons of different cultural backgrounds.
  • Demonstrated commitment to increasing inclusion of traditionally underrepresented groups as participants and contributors within graduate education at the University of Florida.
  • Active involvement in organizations that foster diversity awareness.
  • Creation of an inclusive and supportive environment for graduate students across different cultures and backgrounds.
