Apply today for UF Graduate School’s Office of Graduate Professional Development Spring 2021 Writing Program.

The Office of Graduate Professional Development (OGPD) Writing Program is a social support program that strives to create a peer support structure to (1) help students cope with feelings of isolation in the writing stage of their studies and (2) aid students in supporting each other in setting and reaching writing goals.

Dates: Week of January 25, 2021 - Week of April 12, 2021

Participants will meet weekly for 90 minutes in discussion groups of 4-7 students on Zoom. In these discussion groups, participants will:

• Discuss weekly writing topics
• Write for an hour
• Discuss the previous weeks’ writing goals and set new writing goals for the coming week

NOTE: Personal feedback on or editing of writing samples and/or instruction on academic writing skills will not be provided to participants.

The application is open to all graduate students (master’s students and doctoral students) and participants will be accepted on a rolling basis.

Application Deadline: January 15^th at 11:59 PM.
