We are a 2-year community college located in Lake County, Illinois, and our center has three levels of tutor (student/peer, associate degree, and bachelor or higher). The student/peer tutors make $1 over the state minimum which is currently $11.00 (so for
now $12 per hour), but the governor has already signed legislation to increase the minimum $1 every year to $15 by 2025. Tutor II and III pay rates now stand at $15.26 for tutor II and $19.62 for tutor III. Though tutor II and III have received raises over
the years the college has put an upper limit in place of $20 for employees in these roles. Below I posted a link to a recent posting for our tutor III position. I hope this helps

Good morning, colleagues!
I'm working on advocating for pay raises for the tutors in our learning center. For some context, we're a rural community college in western New York. Right now we have 3 tiers: peer tutors (minimum wage, $12.50), professional tutors with an associate degree
($12.75), and those with a bachelor's degree or higher ($14.25). If you also work at a technical or community college, are you willing to share your pay rates? I think I remember there being a Google doc out there, but I did a quick search and didn't find
