Dear SOCNET members,

We would like to bring your attention to the “YoungARS session” at the
upcoming *5th European Conference on Social Networks *(*EUSN)*, September
7-10, 2021 in Naples (Italy).

We encourage young scholars (MA, PhD students or early-stage researchers)
to submit abstract proposals of their current work and participate in the
Young Researchers’ Best Presentation competition.

*Session description: YoungARS session*

Network analysis, Methods, Applications, Young scholars, ARS, YoungARS,
Y-SISThe YoungARS session is at its third edition and is part
representative of the ARS’21. ARS is an international conference taking
place in Italy every two years to bring together network analysts to
discuss methodological developments and innovative applications in network

The session is targeted at young scholars, such as PhD students and
early-stage researchers. The purpose of the session is to gather
early-career researchers and offer them a dedicated session to present
their ongoing research in front of the network community. The session has
an interdisciplinary focus.

We welcome methodological, theoretical, and applied contributions from
different disciplines. The discussion will help participants to establish
potential collaborations as well as strengthen their network.

*Young Researchers’ Best Presentation*

All the presenters of the YoungARS session participate in the Young
Researchers’ Best Presentation supported by the non-profit Association
“VADISTAT per Simona Balbi”.

The session is organised with the support and patronage of the y-SIS group
of the Italian Statistical Society.
