Coronavirus Precautions

The health and safety of our attendees is a top priority to the UF Water Institute, the 2022 Symposium Planning Committee, the UF/IFAS Office of Conferences and Institutes and the University of Florida’s Reitz Union. The 2022 UF Water Institute Symposium will comply with all UF and CDC recommendations that are in force during the symposium dates to ensure the safest environment possible*.

It is important to note some added precautions are being taken as planning is underway for 2022:

·     A registration cap to increase spacing in plenary and breakout rooms (should the situation improve registration cap can be increased)

·     Larger breakout rooms have been reserved

·     Masks and hand sanitizing stations will be available

·     Buffet lunches have been replaced with individual meals

·     More precautions may be taken as the situation is continuously assessed

*Any location where people are present provides an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19
