Regarding the discussion about computers in higher education, I recommend the new book by Clifford Stoll called SILICON SNAKE OIL. It provokes discussion and points out that it is important to think about where we are going with this new technology and understand the widespread ramifications for learning and lifestyles - not always the best outcome.
