Eastern New Mexico University's Reading Department also uses the Nelson
Denny. Students ACT scores place them in the "developmental" reading
class. To test out of the class, the students must score well on the
instrument (I can't remember what the "test-out score" is). The instructor
of each class administers and hand scores the tests.
