To all,
Thanks for your comments about speed reading or slow reading - each to
their own learning style.  It seems, to this math teacher, this issue is
really bigger that I suspected.  Big enough for me to do some more
research on the issue.

If you know of any research on reading speeds and math students would you
forward it to me?
