Dear LRNASST and SInet Friends, Following is some update information abou the NADE Conference. You may have recently received the Call to Conference brochure via the mail. This email updates the hotel information. The name of the conference hotel is changing on November 21. The old name was the Westin. The new one is the Marriott. Everything else stays the same except use the direct telephone number 313-568-8200. Do NOT use the toll free number listed in the Call to Conference promotion literature. The Marriott Renaissance Hotel will be the location for all conference activities. The Renaissance features comfortable surroundings, restaurants, shops, movie theater, inside access to the People Mover, and The Summit for cocktails, shrimp, steak and Detroit's best view of Windsor, the river, and the Detroit skyline. Call 313-568-8200 to make your reservations. Specify National Association for Developmental Education when calling for reservations. In recent years the conference hotel has sold out one month before the conference. To avoid problems, please make your reservations early. The room rates listed below are good until January 27, 1998. After this date, rooms may be available but the conference rate is not guaranteed.
