We pay our student tutors $7.00/hr. Their lives are so full that we are
lucky to get them to tutor 3-5 hours each week. As a result, the demand
for peer tutors regularly exceeds the supply. The tutors are very
satisfied with the rate of pay and other aspects of their work in the
Learning Center. Understandably, and appropriately, it is not their top
priority.
