Linda Bedell-Logan of Consulting Services for Medical Alternatives of
Maine, phone number (207) 282-5110 . She has information about
lymphedema clinics where they do combined decongestive treatments. These
treatments consist of lymph drainage, massage, and compression bandages
of a total of 40 treatment over a period of four weeks. You would need
to undergo this treatment twice a day for 1 1/2 hours each. The program
also incorporates training including nutrition advice of the patient so
you can avoid recurrence of lymphedema in the future.
