Graduate Assistant, Academic Support Services is a .5 FTE 9 month
appointment beginning August 1, 1999.  $1225/month stipend.  Major
area of responsibility will be conducting reading and writing

12-month appointment beginning July 1, 1999.  $1225/month stipend.
Major area of responsibility will include data entry for tutor

Bachelor degree required.  Applicant must be accepted into an
academic graduate level program at Purdue University.

Applicant must have a strong work ethic, interpersonal and
organizational skills, be able to serve as a positive role model for
student-athletes, possess IBM computer skills, have experience in
tutoring, and/or counseling student-athletes, and a desire for a
career in academic programs.

Assist professional staff in the assignment of tutors, monitoring
academic progress, conducting reading and writing assessments,
facilitating seminars in life skill program areas, coordinate study
table staffing, and other duties as assigned by the Athletic Academic
Support Services Director.
