PROGRAM COORDINATOR JOB POSTING

STUDENT SERVICES PROFESSIONAL I - LEARNING CENTER: Full-time
temporary (October 15, 1999 - December 31, 1999, though the position
may become permanent). Salary: $2,662 - $3,572 per month. Work
Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 12:00 noon to 8:30 p.m. and
Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Hours during the summer are 8:00 a.m. -
4:30 p.m. / Duties: Under the general supervision, the incumbent will
perform moderately complex professional student services work. The
incumbent will coordinate the tutorial program, generate reports on
the use of services and participate in the departmental evaluations.
The incumbent will perform special projects as assigned by the
director and the dean. Qualifications: Applicants must have the
equivalent to graduation from a four-year college or university.
Applicants must have the equivalent to two years of professional
experience in one of the student services program areas or in a
related field. Applicants must possess well developed oral and
written communication skills. Applicants must have a general
knowledge of the policies, procedures and practices of tutorial
programs. The ability to quickly learn new tasks is required, along
with the ability to analyze data. Experience working with tutorial
programs is desired along with experience conducting student skills,
and/or personal growth workshops (e.g., note-taking, time management,
etc.). Working knowledge of common office software is required (e.g.,
