The11th Annual Teaching Academic Survival Skills (TASS) Conference will be
held                                          March 5-7, 2000 at Palm Beach
Atlantic College in West Palm Beach, Florida.  This conference is
co-sponsored by the University of Cincinnati and Northern Essex Community
College.  The keynote speakers will be Dr. John N. Gardner, Fellow of the
National Resource Center for the First Year Experience and Students in
Transition and  Dr. Jeanne Henry, Assistant Professor of Literacy Studies
at Hofstra University and the author of If Not Now: Developmental Readers
in the College Classroom.
The deadline for submission of proposals is December 10, 1999.
