Assistant Director of the Learning Center: UNH at Manchester seeks an individual with an educational background in mathematics and an understanding of student learning processes, knowledge of study skills, and strong interpersonal skills to fill the position of Assistant Director of the Learning Center. This is a PAT staff position. Primary responsibiliites: training and supervising math tutors, overseeing tutor paperwork and payroll, tutoring students from diverse backgrounds, coordinating math placement tests, and conducting workshops. Additional responsibilities: teaching one introductory mathematics course per year. Minimum qualifications: Master of Science in mathematics OR MAT with mathematics concentration. Exceptionally strong candidates with baccalaurate degrees may be considered. Candidates should have experience tutoring or teaching mathematics, preferably at the college level. Experience working with students with disabilities and/or ESL students desirable. Salary range: $34,770 to $39,000 for full-time. Starting salary normally not to exceed $36,000. A full-time appointment for PAT staff consists of 12 months of employment, and no less than 40 hours per week.
