Several people have posted attachments to the list, and all of them have turned
out looking like the mess above. Someone with more knowledge about
it please correct me if I'm mistaken, but apparently our list server can't
handle attachments. Moral of the story: copy and paste everything into the
message body, or offer to e-mail the attachments directly to those who express
an interest in them. (From your Windows-based word processor, highlight what
you want to send, or choose Edit | Select All or press Control-A; choose the
copy command [Edit | Copy, a button with a couple of sheets of paper on a
clipboard, or press Control-C]; switch to your e-mail program; position the
cursor; then choose Paste [usually Edit | Paste, some icon, or press
Control-V]. There's something similar on the Mac, but it's unfortunately been
too long since I've used one to remember how to do it.)
