In conjunction with our university's Instructional Media Center, we started an
informal group called "Ed Tech." We invite faculty to gather a couple times a
semester to share how they have been using technology in the classroom and to hear
presentations on technology options and how to use teshnology to enhance
instruction. We also created an email list to provide another forum for sharing
ideas. So far, we have had professors from each of shool, librarians, LRC staff
members, network administrators, and our university web designer participate in
"Ed. Tech." What started out as a hopeful experiment has been successful for our
university.
